What a delightful experience we had with Gregory Marine. We recently purchased a 2018 Sun Tracker Pontoon Boat from them. Terry Gregory our super sales person did a great job with her non pressure sales approach giving us the facts about the boat and strong boat warranty program of Sun Tracker. She handled all the paperwork which made navigating through purchase, boat and trailer registration a breeze. Bill and Kevin Gregory handled all the installs of our accessories including depth finder, additional swim ladder, Ski Platform, and extra battery with switch that will give me peace of mind while on the water. They configured our bumper guards with the perfect length of rope, set up our anchors with chain and rope , configured our dock ropes. They put all on the boat neatly in our on boat storage compartments .. it was wonderful to find all the needed safety equipment handy and neatly organized and ready for use. Kevin walked me through a very thorough overview of the operation of the boat including break in period facts. This is a wonderful family run business .. they made us feel comfortable from the very beginning - we are looking forward to a long and positive relationship with our new friends the Gregory Family.

Do yourself a favor and stay away! Sold me what was to be a perfectly functioning boat and trailer. Said there was no need for a water trial because it was mechanically sound and if there was a problem to just bring it back Picked up the purchased vessel and trailer on 5-2 2015. Put in the water 5-3 2015. Boat would go over 5mph. Upon pulling the broken vessel out of the trailer on the ramp the winch was broken and boat slid off of the trailer on to the ramp. It happened about 10 ft up the ramp. I was standing by the winch from attaching it to the boat and I was hit by the winch and fell. I sustained injury to my right hand, left forearm, and left leg. Rear end of the boat was sitting on the concrete, it gouged the hull and damaged the drive, it was literally a nightmare come true. Very lucky as even though I was injured someone could literally have been killed. Boat was returned on Monday. Owner stated he would "help" me out with the fixes implying he would not be standing behind his responsibility to provide the product sold to me. I inquired as to the protocols the company has in place to safety check vessels and was not given an answer. I would NEVER trust this company with whatever they claim on either boats they sell or work on. They are very lucky no one was permanently harmed or even worse killed.



UPDATE:6/5, On 5/30 I picked up the boat after the final repair in which they had replaced the lower and did correct the above issues. On the first drive, after 30 minutes of boating the boat would not engage into forward or reverse and we had to be towed. Not trusting their work I took it to a different shop who took a look at the drive and found it had next to no oil in it. It was the opinion of that shop, and several independent mechanics that they forgot to put oil in it. In a conversation with Kevin, the owners son, he even had the nerve to accuse the shop of tampering with the amount of oil drained because I wasn't there to watch them do it, or even do it myself. He even spoke half truth's about things that I would have never caught if I was not a mechanic and a good listener. They are refusing to fix the problem and are forcing me to take legal action for remedy. I would never advise anyone to go here. What a shame.
