Made mistake of purchasing a motor from here with 'guarantee' it was a running & in good condition. Donor vehicle was wrecked but drivable. Contacted seller day it arrived at my mechanic's shop & expressed concern of motor full of milky residue/water. Seller said this is normal (he had done this many times before).

Motor never ran right after install. Thought it was the timing so changed out VVT sensors within the first month (no money left) still no fix. Pulled the front cover and found cover worn (CHAIN RUB). Tensioners & phasers were BAD, chain guides in pieces. Proof the engine couldn't have run without indication of a serious problem. Seller asked why I hadn't notified them but indeed I had. Put on hold until I could take it to the Ford dealer (lack of funds). Found it contained sludge & NO OIL getting to the cams. Invested $5K (+) for engine/install, ALL new parts. Seller guaranteed engine was good but found out otherwise. Hope no one else falls victim.
