I have been with the stylists from this Salon since it opened! I also have followed my personal stylist, Jeffrey for as long as I can remember, when their daughter was a wee one! I am moving to Florida a shudder to think of finding anyone as qualified as this salon has been. Jeffrey & Jennifer are fantastic and also the salon offers other services that compliments all! Saying good-bye was the hardest thing I had to do to make this move. You can bet when I visit Rochester Hills I will also reconnect with my friends at this salon! Personable & Professionable speak to this small intimate salon! I highly recommend them! My girl friends and others started with them because of my recommendations, life long customer ����

I have never written an online review for any hair salon or stylist and for good reason; then I discovered Jennifer Malinowski at Salon Elán. Jennifer, who is a Redken certified Color Specialist, is an extremely talented hair professional.



How I met Jennifer is interesting. The stylist that I had for several years moved to Arizona so I had to find a new stylist. After trying several, I found someone who would “make do.” (She also moved out of state.) One day the stylist was running so far behind that she had to ask for help. Jennifer graciously offered to blow-dry and style my hair. It was a revelation for me.



Jennifer color corrected a dark “stripe” I had running around my head from one of the “trial” stylists. She rescued my hair from the frizzes caused by heat and humidity. I always look fabulous, so I feel fabulous!



Jennifer’s Salon is clean and inviting. Professional salon hair products are 20% off retail – every day. No gimmicks! I highly recommend giving her a try. After all, perhaps you have been searching for perfection as was I…

Jennifer is THE BEST. My hair ALWAYS turns out great and she pampers me!! Salon Elan is very quiet and peaceful; very relaxing!! Can't imagine going anywhere else!!

Jennifer is the BEST. She is amazing at everything she does! On top of it, she and Jeffrey are kind, intelligent, interesting people-what a pleasure it is to know them. Not only do I get a great haircut every time I visit, I thoroughly enjoy my whole experience at Salon Elan. They are also AMAZING with our elderly parents-so patient and loving. I would never go anywhere else.

I've been getting my hair cut by Jeff for 15+ years. He and Jennifer always do a great job, very professional. On top of that they're really nice people. I'd recommend them to anyone, male or female, who wants a great stylist and a great look.

My daughter and I have been a followers and believers in Jennifer and Jeff for at least a decade. Their new salon is great, but the two of them are what makes it the greatest. I have gotten endless compliments on my hairstyles and color by Jennifer.



In fact, at Lifetime Fitness after a step aerobics class, in the locker room someone looked at my hair before I touched it and said she couldn't believe I just finished exercising. On a river rafting trip down the Grand Canyon we were standing in line for coffee after sleeping under the stars, and two of the gals I hadn't yet gotten to know teased me, "we hate your hair, it's too perfect after a night's sleep".



One of the best things about their business is how ready they are to give back to the community. They have raised money for soldiers, sold cancer awareness jewery I happened to make, given free hair cuts to women who've lost their hair due to chemo, including myself. Today I heard them discussing free color for men, who've lost their jobs to enhance their future chances for a job. In fact, someone from a local high school was picking up a donation basket of their products for a fundraiser.



Jeff and Jennifer not only make people look better, but feel better about themselves. They are more than simply a salon, but a community outreach program. In fact they have a bookcase filled with great books to give or lend out, some of the best my daughter and I have read. Who could ask for more? Sue & Kaitlyn McIntyre

Jennifer has been cutting and coloring my hair for longer than I can remember. She does an outstanding job and always gives an honest opinion when I am stuck and can't decide what I should do for color/highlights/cut. Besides being great at her job, she is simply an amazing, uplifting person. I highly recommend a visit to Salon Elan - you won't be disappointed!
