From a roadside stand to one of the largest family-owned production and retail nurseries in Michigan, Bordine Nursery s roots have remained permanent in Rochester Hills, Mich. Its plant types include annuals, evergreens, fruits, herbs, perennials, roses, shrubs, trees, vegetables and water plants. The company has nearly five locations in southeastern Michigan. Along with the Rochester Hills location, the nursery s second location in Clarkston, Mich., was acquired in 1978. Its Grand Blanc and Brighton, Mich., garden centers opened in 2001. Established in 1939, Bordine Nursery consists of more than 700 employees.
