Went in yesterday and although there was a long wait, they were helpful and tried to make it better. They are concerned about treating patients right and helping them.

These guys suck! Paid 2,000 for a set of dentures that never ever fit. Went back time and time again and was treated like i was just a wallet. Would not fix what i paid for and gave me stuff to do at home. These guys suck! Also took my son in for a cavity and they broke his tooth but never told us. Had to take my son to another dentist in extreme pain and was informed was Young dental did. Young Dental denied it and keeps sending us more bills for more money even tho we paid in full up front. Avoid these thieves and very unprofessional!

Michael Young clinic is one of the oldest hospitals in Riverton. You can go visit it without charge.

I wonder how many unnecessary fillings my son has because of this dentist. I was suspicious when my son had 3-4 cavities every visit. I went to another dentist and got a second opinion. My son has 1 cavity, not 4 like I was told. When I asked them they told me they're cavities that do not show up on X-rays, that is very convenient! I also had to have a crown and it was not fit properly. I have a ledge now that catches when I floss and I will have I have it fixed because it is a bacteria trap. I would not go to this dentist again.

I have been a patient at young family dental for over 20 years, my children and grand children go there also. If I didn't trust there work I would never let them work on my grand children. I was very happy when they opened the riverton office as it is closer to my home. I really like they way they explain, and answer all my question. Also I appreciate all the new technology (the cavity detecting camera) this can find cavities before the Dr's insturment can. google it on KSL it is amazing!!!

DO NOT TRUST THIS DENTIST! Everything went downhill after the initial appointment was made. My daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled, and promptly following the procedure I was pulled into the room and told, “Your daughter has a mouthful of cavities. Has she been seen by a dentist regularly?” Then, they proceeded to shove a camera into her mouth while she still was disoriented and bleeding from the procedure, showing me the alleged cavities. It felt like I was being called out for not taking my daughter to the dentist on a regular basis, which was not the case. Then, Dr. Chris Young said most of these cavities have been here for quite a while. Further stating that perhaps our regular dentist is “waiting until they become more pronounced, thus requiring a root canal.” (Implying that our regular dentist is not proficient at his job, or looking to charge us more in the long run).



The ENTIRE staff (except for the appointment clerk) is extremely unprofessional. The front desk, the billing/insurance desk, the dental assistants, and the Doctor himself! I’ve never had such a poor experience, ever.



After my daughter had a couple weeks to heal, we went to our regular dentist for a check-up. After her REGULAR six month cleaning, a consistent schedule she has followed, twice a year since the age of two, NO CAVITIES! Just as I suspected. She has also had 2.5 years of recent orthodontic care, so for Dr. Young and his assistant to say it looks like she hasn’t been properly caring for her teeth was absolutely ridiculous.



Finally, not only did she have a great check-up, our dentist had to repair the shoddy work left behind by Dr. Chris Young. During a follow up visit with Dr. Young, when my daughter was concerned about a flap of gum tissue left behind that was causing pain, Dr. Young said, “That is just the way it is healing.” He simply upped her antibiotic, and sent her on her way. I must say again, DO NOT TRUST THIS DENTIST!

Terrible! Very cold and rude, they will rip you off. I was told my child had more cavities than they really did (got a second AND third opinion). Steer clear of Young Family Dental! They are not worth it!

I was disheartened by my visit. The Dr spent no more than 14 minutes with me, pulled a molar with moderate effort, then charged me for a "surgical" extraction. He left the room with no instructions, comforting, or Rx for pain meds. I had to request the Rx when I paid, then google after-care instructions once I got home - while in severe pain. I will not be returning.

My experience was a little cold for me and my son, I had his exam done then felt pressured into making an appointment,so I did but I still wanted to look around at other dentist for my sons mouth, I try to get the best possible care and most natural approach. Well CPS showed up at my door because I had cancelled my sons appointment at young family dental, they turned me in to child protective services. It was the most violating, invaded experience! I do NOT recommend young family dental!,

Dr. Michael Young and the staff do a great job at making me feel as comfortable and relaxed as can be during my visits.

My experience with Young Family Dental Riverton has been more than exceptional from start to finish.
