I will start with the good. The repairman was able to fix the water heater.



The not so good is that for a simple repair done in under an hour cost 250$ and the invoice was emailed later (not given at the time) only listed that charge. It was not broken down into labor and parts.



While he was working I wondered what was taking so long when I went to the room and found him just standing there on his phone ... the repair had been done and everything was running fine and all tools were cleaned up and out to truck, yet there he was just standing. If I hadn't checked on him was I to pay for yet another hour at ...what... 200$/hr???? Also I work with someone who I found out has family in the plumbing business and whose spouse was a master plumber and when I told her what they fixed and the cost she said "You got hosed!"



After the repairman fixed it he just kept repeating that there was no guarantee it would continue working. He seemed sad that he got pilot light going. The repairman wanted to just put in a new heater, but yet could not tell me anything about the one he brought on the truck. Apparently I wasn't supposed to ask questions about the brand/quality/warranty/efficiency rating etc.



This guy didn't seem sure of himself and it made me uncomfortable. I thought my spouse had called them to complain and ask for itemized bill, but it was forgotten. At first I thought "fine, lesson learned don't go with a company you don't know". But I feel that reviews are very important since they are very important to my husband in his business and I count on them when I'm purchasing items.



In the end I'm glad to have hot water but I do feel a bit like I got "hosed" and wouldn't call them back when in the next couple of years I need a replacement. Maybe if there had been more explanation, detailed billing and knowledge of their product I would feel better.

Best Plumbing service I have ever had. Honest, Clean workers, top-notch rates and service!!
