The Castleberry Independent School District serves more than 3,500 students in prekindergarten through grade 12 through its elementary, middle and high schools. The school district offers a range of subjects, including arts, business, computer applications, English, science and social studies. The Castleberry Independent School District also conducts classes in communication arts and physical education for students in prekindergarten through sixth grade. The school district operates more than eight schools, including Castleberry Elementary, A. V. Cato Elementary, Joy James Elementary, Irma Marsh Middle School and Castleberry High School. The Castleberry Independent School District also operates a learning center. It is located in River Oaks, Texas.
