I had the worst experience at this shop. I called to ask for a quote on a garment. The lady quoted me a price and asked for a date when I needed my garment back. After I gave her the date, she told me to bring it in 4 days in advance, which I did. When I went to pick it up, the cost was $70 more than the quoted price. Apparently, I was quoted the wrong price AND I was charged a rush charge of $25-30. They told me when to bring my garment in so how is this my fault? I was very disappointed when the owner would not work with me on the price. I would have paid for the full price of the service of the garment. I understand mistakes happen, but to keep the rush charge?! If I had been quoted the correct price, I would not have brought in the garment in the first place and then I definitely wouldn't have brought it in if I knew there was charge on top of that price. She did tell me she gave me the garment bag for free. I was under the impression that it was free everywhere. I would have gladly paid the original quoted price plus the "fee" of the garment bag which is probably .25 or I could have brought in my own oversized trash bag to cover it. I was told the employee would be talked to about pricing. That's great for the next person who asks for a quote, but not for me. I have to take the loss for their mistake. It was just very disappointing that they took no ownership in their mistake and did not work with me to reduce the cost. I ate the entire cost. I would have come back and referred others if they had felt I was important enough to work with. I can't speak for the work, they may do an amazing job, a good job, a fair job or a poor job. Mine was a press job so pretty minimal and I was so upset about the cost that I didn't notice the work. I do caution if there is an issue, you may have the same result I did and have to pay for it. Hopefully, you get better luck than I did. It was very disheartening and disappointing. Thank you!
