I have hired Sewing Systems twice in the last 5 years. The first time in September 2014, for some lawn furniture repair and to replace the seats on 4 wave runners.
The job was finished to my satisfaction without any incidents or delays and the cost was reasonably priced.
Early spring 2019 I was in need of some extensive boat upholstery repairs, after a family of raccoons decided to live inside of my boat without me realizing it until it was way too late!
Extensive doesn't even explain the damage and terrible site of my boat interior condition.
Even though I was paying this company to fix what the raccoons did to my property,
I couldn't apologize enough for the condition of the boat and job I was asking this company to undertake. (Everything was ripped or chewed on or vomited on plus animal waste everywhere)
Horrifying doesn't even really explain the condition in which, the animals left my boat !
The words complete redo don't even cover the AMAZING work that was done to fix and undo the damage!
I was so happy and still am at the completed job.
I was searching the internet today for Sewing Systems phone number for yet more work I would like them to complete for me, this spring,
and came across the other review left that had bad things to say about Sewing Systems.
I want to say first I used this company TWICE over a five year period and had I seen the poor review of this company before I brought the wildlife ravaged boat interior to them,
I am uncertain if I would have asked them to do the job.
The poor review confuses me in the fact that I have never had anything but really wonderful experiences with this company their work craftsmanship, ethics, and professionalism.
Each time I have had work done I was updated periodically about timeframe for completed work and everything stayed on schedule for each job.
I almost feel like it is possibly a fake review placed by a competitor?
Either way my experiences over a 5 year period were all positive and I cannot think of anything but wonderful things to say about this company the work done and their workers!
I hope anyone who sees these reviews and decides to base getting work done on a review decides to give this company a chance
as I am certain they wont regret it and will in fact be happy customers, who will return again for great craftsmanship and work.

Hired to sew a window panel in a canvas popup camper. Everything was cut and prepped but our sewing machine broke so we took it to them. The panel came back looking completely unprofessional. The screen was sewn over itself so it pulls on the window in two locations, the lines are crooked, the re-enforcement stitching looks awful and the back to tabs that hold the window and place weren't even sewn into the panel they were just left hanging out. When I went back to them and showed it to them they agreed to fix it, that it looked bad, and we picked up fabric. Two months went by and nothing was done. I was told that the fabric was on back order when called to check in. I'm sure they didn't order it until after I had called to check on it. Two weeks went by with no word and I called again and they told me that fabric was discontinued. At this point I had no faith in their ability to sew the panel back and we needed to have the panel back for the summer camping trips. They refunded my money but I still spent over an hour drive to drop the panel off with them again for the second time and time on the phone and we lost our time in the winter to get this fixed and now I have more of a problem because the fabric is unrepairable with the Stitch holes that are all over the place and then I might need to replace the screen to so I'm stuck with a BIGGER and more expensive project than I was before I started. Buyer be warned.
