Finding a decent, honest mechanic can be very stressful. Many of us have horror stories; fortunately, I found a car mechanic that does great work and charges fair prices. The company I work for relocated to Ridgefield Park in December of 2005 and since I was handling our corporate fleet of cars at that time; I needed to find a local shop and reliable and honest mechanic who would take care of our fleet needs. Neils Automotive turned out to be that shop and Neil turned out to be that mechanic, he knows the cars inside and out, and I can always count on his help. Seeing how responsible and reliable he was, I started taking my personal car to his shop for servicing as well. One particular event stands out; the engine on my relatively new vehicle unexpectedly needed to be replaced, I was told by a local shop it would take about 7-10 days for the work to be completed at a pretty high cost, so I called Neil for advice. He offered his help, actually towed my disabled car to his shop, and replaced the engine in 3 days at a reasonable cost. I have been recommending him to my friends and co-workers for years now and he has very loyal stream of followers. Thank you Neil for your honesty and reliability! Rina
