The staff Arapaho Animal clinic are the best doctors and staff I could ever dream of having. I had 2 elderly 15 & 16 yr old Chihuahuas since they were puppies. I thought I had a good clinic in another part of the city and was loyal to them for 10 years. It was a horrible place to go yet I liked one of the vets. Their front desk staff knows they are rude and obnoxious. I could not go there again because of this. This is how I ended up at ARAC to have my babies taken care of. When my babies first met Dr. May and Dr. Sperry plus the owner my dogs were in a much better place and were treated with respect and kindness. I only got to use their service a couple of years but my dogs have crossed the Rainbow Bridge within 5 months of each other (One last week) and DR Sperry and the receptionist and technician were so kind and thoughtful. I just lost Bambi last week and I cry a lot and am by myself at night so it hurts. ARAC kindness and patience helps me even now because I think of how they treated us and gave us the best care of all.

Over the course of a few years I have taken two different cats to this hospital The doctors have been outstanding. After my experience with the receptionist on duty last Saturday, I will never go there again!My cat has a "perpetual" nasal infection and when it acts up I get an antibiotic refill. Well evidently too much time had passed etc etc, but when I asked who the doctor was she said in a loud snotty voice ," It doesn't matter who the doctor is!" Really? Are those seriously your people skills? Not to mention your receptionist skills? She became what I would consider combative, and no matter who the doctor is I will never go to this hospital again and I will discourage others from doing so.

I took my cocker spaniel to Dr. May after years of trying to get her cured at another vet by Love Field airport who kept throwing my money at the problem. As it turned out, food alergies were the issue. Dr. May's policy is to eliminate the simpler issues first which definitely worked. Also, she does not use an expensive medicine if a less expensive one would work as well. The rest of the staff is wonderful as well. Tthe atmosphere is caring and relaxed. You know you are in a well run place when everyone is smiling.

I took my wirehaired Doxie, Lonnie, there to see Dr. Perkins. He is probably the nicest, most through veterinarian I have ever been to in my life. He genuinely cares for your pet and is not just interested in making money like a lot of these new places are. He does what is best for your animal! And his receptionist was soooooo sweet and helpful as well. I'd recommend this veterinarian to anyone. 5 stars.
