Benchmark is close to my home, so I decided to try them out. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in the level of care during my dogs recent stay. I dropped them off for three days, and when I picked them up they both reeked of urine (like the blankets in their cage weren't clean, or they were left in cage for too long). I mentioned it to the owner who suggested that they probably urinated and then rolled in it to mark their territory. I've been to plenty of facilities and have never ran into the scenario where I picked up my dogs and they reeked of urine. When I got home, I discovered that one of my dogs also had rashes all over her paws, and a small injury on her eye! I also discovered that they didn't feed my dog the requested daily amount, and the blanket I sent with them reeked of urine. The amenities offered are also very minimal. I honestly feel like for a little bit more money your dog could get so much more at another facility (most importantly to return home healthy).
