Since 1997 sum of about 3 million dollars have been donated to build a new mosque. The construction has just started around June of 2009 but Mr. Abedini is asking for 1.5 million dollar donations. He says that the whole "soft cost" is 1.5 million dollars. He does not answer to anybody about all the zakat, zakat ol fitr, fundraising, and all the donations. No one knows where the money has gone.
