Martin Electric is a New York State certified WBE electrical contractor, offering full service electrical construction and maintenance which is located in a residential zoned area in Rensselaer, New York, since 1975. We have been in business since 1939, with a proud tradition of providing quality electrical work and responsive service by well-trained and competent employees. We are an exemplary neighbor and an outstanding member of the East Greenbush community. We have a solid financial history, maintaining a Dunns and Bradstreet rating of 1R2 or better, and are proud of our exemplarily relationship with local and national vendors. Our Field Superintendant has over 40 years experience and our top foreman has over 50 years combined electrical training and familiarity with IBEW standards of excellence and production. We support our staff with ongoing education and in-service training programs, including the National Electrical Contractors Association ( NECA ) annual safety code enforcement classes, skills training programs and special manufacturer's training on new products. Martin Electric is fully committed to the highest safety standards. We require that all supervisory personnel are regularly trained in safe work practices and carry a valid OSHA 30 hour course certification. The company maintains a complete inventory of electrical and supply parts in our 15, 000 sq. ft. warehouse and shop. We maintain good relationships with all local and national suppliers to ensure fast and efficient service on special orders or unique equipment. We have a strong working relationship with state and local inspectors, and are knowledgeable in the area of permit and license processes necessary to ensure timely approvals.
