YES! Recent advances in learning science have led to the development of highly effective instructional strategies for students with various learning disabilities and challenges. These methods have been proven through clinical testing and research to actually transform the way students learn and perform in the classroom. Our Director, Dr. Kimberly Berens, is a leader in the field. She actively develops our instructional programs in relation to her own research and clinical work. As a result, our strategies and outcomes have been published and presented at international conferences on learning science and evidence-based instruction. Our methods focus on building academic fluency, also known as processing speed. Published findings indicate that learners who achieve fluency in basic reading, math, and handwriting areas have: *Increased Attention Span *Stronger Memory Skills *Better Future Learning Abilities *Improved Self-Confidence Published findings also indicate tha t most learners with disabilities and challenges tend to have significant deficits in visual and/or auditory processing areas. Our methods correct this primary weakness, and as result, fundamentally transform students as learners.
