Thomas Sumter Academy, founded in 1964, offers a variety of educational programs to students. It provides subjects that include English, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign languages, fine arts, business and computers. The school s subjects also include physical education, technology and special education. It has clubs that include anchor, art, chess, ecology, key, math, French and Spanish clubs. The extracurricular activities provided by the school include yearbook, student government, dance, drama, orchestra, choir and National Honor Society. The school also offers a variety of sports activities that include softball, football, cross country, tennis, cheerleading, soccer and volleyball.
