What a great staff. There wer...

What a great staff. There were two sales people in the front of the store who were both attentive and genial. They were patient and engaged, even though there were a lot of people in the store and they were clearly busy.

When I had my appointment with the Dr., I was pleased at how knowledgable and communicative she was. She helped me understand why I had gotten varying diagnoses from other eye doctor's in the past. She discussed my options for prescriptions and gave me an honest recommendation. It was quite refreshing to hear that her recommendation was that I get NO glasses, because I often think that the staff and places like this will ALWAYS try to get you in a pair of glasses even if you don't need them. Not the case here.

When I asked about sunglasses before I left, the sales person who helped me was really great and gave her honest opinion about which glasses were a good fit and which didn't work for my face. Then, when it came down to choosing between two pairs (both of which I REALLY liked) she gave me an AMAZING deal on the second pair, took some serious $$$ off, because she knew I had a budget.

Super impressed with the staff and how sweet they were. Glad to know that they are nearby. : )

I had the worst experience wit...

I had the worst experience with the Site for Sore Eyes at Sequoia Station. I ordered two pairs of glasses on a Saturday. The employees couldn’t get through to my insurance company, but I told them to go ahead because I thought I was covered. On Sunday I realized I wasn’t, and called and left a message asking that they cancel the order. I called again the minute they opened on Monday, but they told me that both pairs of glasses were already being worked on at the laboratory, they couldn’t cancel, and I would have to pay the $900.00 + dollars. They wouldn’t give me the name of the laboratory so I could call them myself. But even so, I didn’t get my glasses right away. One pair was held up for two weeks.

Two months later one pair (Coach) broke in half at the bridge. I asked if the frames had a guarantee of any sort, and was told no, but they would sell me a duplicate pair for “only $200.00). I contacted Coach, and they replaced the frames at no cost. There was a warrantee from the manufacturer after all.
