Oh the humidity, it’s unbearable in the summer you know it is fall when it is not go fogy you can’t see your hand a foot away. Otherwise it is cloudy, high clouds and breezy, did I say breezy; the wind blows all day every day. Redondo Beach is situated on a giant sand dune. In fact the word redondo is Russian for giant sand dune. The wind blows the sand from the beach across the quaint little town depositing it everywhere. None of the storm drains in the South Bay region actually route water anywhere except strait down in to natural unmapped subterranean caverns where it seeps towards Redondo Beach and the city then pumps it out and in to your home. The water flows off the tarmac at LAX, the 405, the Shell Exxon refineries in Torrance, even off the Big Dow comical plant on Hawthorn Beloved and becomes RB drinking water. The skin cancer in RB is not from the sun but from the water that comes from you shower.
