I originally went to the RAC because i liked their clean, centrally located daycare, and small gym feel, but was thrilled to find Chris Doran and the Serious About Fitness team.



After 2 kids I was WAY overweight and needed help getting it off. Chris' workouts, coupled with his nutrition guidance and meal planning advice, helped me lose over 40 lbs in 1 year.



I love Chris' group training concept. I don't have to book my 1 set hour with a trainer; when I get there, someone is ready to put me through my workout. If I need to check my kids during my session, that does not come out of my time...they are there for me until my workout is done. True, with the group training, trainers are not just watching me, but they always seem to know what rep i am on, and my weights are always ready for my next round.



I have also met lots of friends through group training; we cheer each other on, and have participated in other fitness events in the community together.



I love that Chris and the team are genuinely happy to see me when i get to the gym, and I always look forward to, and enjoy, my workouts!

Great program and people

I went to Serious About Fitness looking for a way to get back into the shape I used to be in. After talking with Chris and the other trainers we came up with a program specifically to fit my goals at an affordable price. Along with the 1 on 1 personal training sessions there are also fantastic group training work outs that are never the same! The trainers are fun, energetic and want you to succeed! I always felt very comfortable while working out and saw the results that i was looking for! If you're looking for a place that's not too crowded and a great atmosphere with knowledgeable people you should definitely check it out!
