Failed to fix leaks under the house coming from hall bathroom. Failure to communicate to me that they were not fixed.

Also rude.

I contacted Gardner Plumbing (I spoke to Patti) regarding some plumbing issues I needed fixed at my house in Lakehead, CA.

They were safety straps on the water heater, leaky valves in the hall bathroom and a leak under the house where the hall bathroom was.



A "technician" was sent out the next morning. He fixed the water heater strapping issue (which turned out to be a lengthy problem - water had to be drained from it and it had to be moved out). I did not complain about the water heater issue. I was billed many hours for that - and I told Gardner that I understand.The technician fixed the leaky valves in the hall and did a good job. However the technician did not fix the leaks under the house at the hall bathroom. He also did not tell me they were not fixed. I had a house inspector (the house is in escrow to be sold - I had communicated that to Patti) come in two days later and the house was cited for 2 leaks under the house at the hall bathroom. And the plumber never told me that he hadn't fixed them. No call and no communication.

I had a lot of trouble getting the bill from this man. (it took 6 days to get it).

My real estate agent wanted me to talk to him so I did. The man was defensive and he was a bit belligerent. He wanted to talk about the water heater and how difficult it was - I told him I understood (the bill had come to $600) I wanted to know why he'd had not fixed the hall bathroom leaks? He said because it wasn't on his manifest. But in reality on my bill he said he fixed a master bathroom shower head which no one asked him too - and could not have been on a manifest. Ultimately this plumber had fixed things I had not asked him to do and failed to fix the things I asked for.

During the call to discuss this - the plumber acted like he would in no way attempt to understand or remedy this problem. I told him I would pay his bill but would report him to the the Better Business Bureau and Angie's list. He hung up on me.

He called my real estate agent and told her I as screaming at him and had threatened to sue him. Neither of these were true.
