Cambridge-Lee Industries has served the metals industry for more than 60 years. The company is among the world s largest distributor of copper tubes. Cambridge-Lee grew to be the third largest North American manufacturer of plumbing tube in the 1990 s. In 1993 Cambridge-Lee joined IUSA, one of Mexico s largest diversified industrial groups, and in 1996 acquired Reading Tube Corporation, a leading U.S. manufacturer. Its large, highly efficient manufacturing plants located in Reading, Penn. and Pasteje, Mexico, together with an effective and geographically well-placed warehouse and distribution network, insure its products are available and competitively priced. The company is well established in the supply of standard products (copper tubing for plumbing, ACR, and refrigeration applications, as well as linesets), commercial copper tube, industrial metals and machinery. In Europe Cambridge-Lee is a leading distributor of copper tubes and fittings. Its sister company, United Copper Industries, manufactures a range of copper building wire at a state-of-the-art facility in Texas.
