They helped us with an interior trim job and fireplace mantle addition in 2013. Our carpenter Andreas was a very skilled carpenter. The craftsmanship was top notch. You would expect to see this quality of work in a $1 million plus new construction home.

I meet with Ted Wismeier to get a estimate for a roof replacement my home owners insurance was making me get.

He went over everything with me without being pushy! Money is tight being single and they had the highest bid, however after talking things over with him I realized they were offering a lot more for the money. And when you are looking at a long term investment like a roof it is well worth a little extra money for piece of mind.

The day they started the roof there was forecasted rain storms that night. The crew stayed 13 hours to finish the job rather than putting a tarp on it and crossing their fingers. They also did a great clean up job. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality job done right

We met with Steve Anderson to discuss replacement of windows, two patio doors, and one entry door. Bordner was one of 6 quotes we received for this project. We wanted Marvin Infinity windows, and Bordner is one of the few in Kansas City that sell and install these windows. Steve was an excellent salesman. Took the time needed to answer all of our questions and explained all of our financing options. A real pleasure to work with, not only during this initial meeting, but all through our project until it was done to our satisfaction. A crew came out in November to complete the project. I will not go into great detail on the problems we experienced with the work this crew did. Suffice it to say, it was neither up to our standards nor Bordner's reputation for excellence. Over the course of the next couple of months (keep in mind - this was over the holidays and it was not great weather for outdoor work), we were in contact with Steve regarding our concerns. With a few glitches in communication, primarily within Bordner between departments, the company sent out Don Edwards to fully assess our issues, and, most importantly, resolve them. Don worked for an entire week to make our installation right. I can not say enough times what a great job he did. I teared up a couple of times in thanking him as I was so glad to have someone see the problems we saw and fix them. All of the work was completed in our satisfaction the first of February.

I do not feel the problems we experienced are typical of working with Bordner. There was an issue of the wrong crew for the job, weather issues, and the holidays which lent themselves to our job. What I can not stress enough is this company's willingness to go above and beyond to make things right. Never once were we made to feel that our issues were not important or a priority. I would highly recommend this company.

I was extremely disappointed in my experience with Bordner Roofing. I picked them because they have been in business awhile and I didn't see any negative reviews. Don't be fooled.







Below you will find some of my experiences with Bordner Roofing:





* They said they would have the job done in one day. It was not.



* They tried to charge me twice for the taxes on the roofing job.



* They said they would call me back on different issues, and never did. I had to repeatedly call them.



* My gutters leaked after they installed them.



* My siding was loose in two different spots, and I had to climb up on my roof and fix it myself.



* I found approximately a dozen nails on the ground around my house, after they finished the job. Primarily in the driveway.



* They let plastic and paper wrappers blow all around the neighborhood for my neighbors to pick up.



* Several nail holes appeared in my ceiling, and they said it was not their fault and not their responsibility to repair them. They were not there before the roof was replaced, and magically appeared when they replaced the roof.





My entire neighborhood was hit with a hail storm. I watched other companies replacing roofs on my block and they were much faster, and didn't create such a mess. My neighbors didn't have the problems I had. The other companies seemed to do a much better job.





If you want a company who doesn't do what they say they will do, tries to over charge you, does a sloppy, inferior job, and leaves a mess when they are done, then Bordner Roofing is for you. I have higher expectations, and won't be using them again.

Bordner just put on our new roof and it looks great! We could tell they put a lot of thought into the process, it went so smoothly. Thanks Steve and everyone that helped with our roof at Bordner!

I can't recommend Bordner highly enough. They are phenomenal.

I used Bordner to install new Windows and Siding on my home several years ago. I have not had any issues with them and they still look great to this day. This is why I called them for a bid on my new roof. I still had 2 other contractors out to perform my due diligence. But I have to say I was blown away at what Bordner showed me. By the time our appointment was over I felt like I just took a roofing 101 class. The other 2 contractors never knew what hit them. I asked them questions based on what I'd just learned with Bordner and they couldn't even answer. I felt like more of an expert than they were!

Now my new roof is installed (by Bordner of course) and I'm still sold on Bordner and their work. I did have one question about the roof when it was all over, but the supervisor came back out and showed me why they installed it a certain way and I was satisfied.

Call Bordner before you call anyone else, they will show you the right way construction should be done. Then you will be prepared to ward off those unscrupulous contractors.

Everything was very, very well done from my perspective. Colby was excellent, he communicated at every step and checked before dropping by to see if we could meet with him. He was also very helpful in explaining all the options we had for roof. Your crew was also very good to work with - they were courteous and always helpful when we were coming home or leaving. One day a worker helped my wife navigate trash cans around the roofing materials on trash day - maybe a little thing, but quite indicative of the overall experience. Bordner's process prepared us for what actually happened, there were no surprises.
