My chronically ill brother had his very first experience with the APM center in Raynham this morning. He has suffered from severe diabetic neuropathy for 15 or more years now. The man suffers in silence, always putting on a brave face for the family that loves him so much. They were hopeful as they entered the pain clinic. He and his wife waited patiently for the doctor. The door opened and a woman entered the room. She neither greeted her patient, nor did she introduce herself. Instead, she glanced at his paperwork, looked up at him and stated "We don't write for oxycontin here." Disgraceful! Outrageous behavior from a supposed professional! It only took a moment for my sister-in-law to reply "Your facility is obviously not sophisticated enough to care for my husband. We don't even know who you are!". I am deeply offended and very angry at this behavior. Despicable. Needless to say, they cancelled his follow-up appointment immediately.
