From the initial consultation, Dr. Lang did a fantastic job explaining the surgery, the physical therapy, along with future considerations. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for any appointment, he always takes as long as I want and answers all questions, and the surgery/physical therapy was successful. I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Dr. Lang.

Dr. Labrie was very professional & thorough in explaining my knee surgery options. He did an excellent job with the surgery and I wouldn't hesitate to refer him to family & friends.

I have had everything from hip replacement of both hips and rotater cuff surgery on both arms with the fine doctors at Black Hills Orthopedic and have had WONDERFUL service from that place. I found the staff and the doctors to be GREAT and caring... I would not take my business anywhere else AND i have recommended them to many of my friends. PROS: Nice building.CONS: Wait times so excessive I had to reschedule once. You may want to clear your whole afternoon to be seen here.Once I did manage to be seen for a shoulder injury I was misdiagnosed, even with an MRI done only days earlier. Surgery was presented as an option to repair torn ligaments. I got second opinion (and 3rd) which concurr on the current diagnosis for which I am currently being successfuly treated. Surgery is almost always contraindicated for the correct diagnosis. I have no torn ligaments! surgery would have emptied my wallet and slowed down my recovery significantly.In summation, I spent some money and two afternoons I will never get back because I did not want to drive to Spearfish. I was advised by a family member against using this facility, had I listened I would be a little further ahead today.

This doctor totally lacks people skills. Not only was I not allowed to ask questions, he decided to go on vacation leaving me to either come out of my cast a week early or wait two more weeks. I ended up leaving town to find a doctor just to remove my cast, and lo and behold, my had not been set properly to begin with.
