Acceptable pancakes are a woefully under-represented food group in the Rockland County, NY area! Hey, if I'm going to Jersey for cheap gas, I'm going to Jersey for pancakes. This particular location is located on the death-trap also known as Route 17. The restaurant is VERY clean, well staffed and generally more pleasant than other IHOP locations I've had the (mis) fortune of visiting {Hartsdale,NY being the biggest offender - don't think about going to that one unless you are a) a member of a crime family ,b) blind and or deaf and c) used to disgusting conditions surrounding food.} The servers here are all very friendly and FAST. Don't you hate when you are starving and service is slower than a line at the DMV? Not here! Fast pancakes! I'm a fan of the chocolate chip pancakes. My palate is not unlike that of an (awesome) seven year old. I appreciate a nice sugar high. Trust me, you'll need it pulling out of this parking lot on to death-trap 17. At least take comfort in knowing that if one of the (many) truckers driving roughly 98 miles per hour hits your car, your stomach will be happily filled. Also, expect to use about a gallon of your freshly purchased cheap Jersey gas to floor it to be able to merge from the parking lot. It's a racket, I tell ya.
