 I began my journey in the jewelry industry by luck or some may call fate. At 16 years old I was chosen among many to become an apprentice jeweler, a moment that changed my life forever! After learning jewelry manufacturing hands on from a Master Jeweler in San Deigo, California, I was so mezmorized by the beauty of the differnt gems..."How do you know it is diamond verses clear quartz?" "What is the differnce between blue topaz and auqamarine? How do you know?" "Why can some stones take the heat of a jewelers torch and others not?" After hundreds of questions, the Master Jeweler insisted I study at The Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, CA. which, unknown to me at the time, he had already written a letter to them about this young girl he had as a curious apprentice. After winning one of two partial scholarships that were awarded that year, I graduated at the top of my class by 18 years old. The world was literally my pearl! I have enjoyed being very fortunate to have a life long career that has always been my passion, being apart of some of the most precious moments of peoples life's, as well as being trusted with their most prized posessions, regardless of the monetary value. It is and has always been my pleasure to bring the science of gemology to the beauty of your jewelry.
