Provided by YP.comThey are the best in town and work on almost everything...The service is wonderful and the prices are very reasonable (chaper than buying a new one) and if its not worth fixing, he has no problem letting you know that...they are just the best when it comes to your small engine repair

Provided by YP.comQuestionable Pricing!!!!!!! Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!
I initiated contact with Precision Outdoor Power Equipment via phone on September 24, 2011 to compare a price quote I received from Cary Mower and Saw to rebuild the carburetor of a Craftsman 6.0.
I was informed a carburetor rebuild would yield a total cost of approximately $45 ($20 less than quote obtained from Cary Mower and Saw).
I delivered the Craftsman 6.0 to Precision on October 10, 2011 to commence restoration of the defective carburetor. In addition, an Echo SRM-210 trimmer was delivered (required replacement of fuel lines).
I accepted the equipment on October 17, 2011; however, unexpectedly, the final cost to rebuild the carburetor yielded $80 (i.e. a 77% increase over the original estimate), whereas replacement of the trimmer fuel lines totaled $55.
How can the final cost of such a standard work order (i.e. carburetor rebuild) differ so dramatically from the original estimate quoted on September 24, 2011? When questioned upon acceptance of the equipment, I immediately encountered resistance and did not receive an adequate explanation to my inquiry.
Given the debatable charges incurred to fix the Craftsman 6.0, I am also questioning the validity of the costs to replace the fuel lines of the Echo Trimmer. How can I confidently accept that these charges were also not inflated (for whatever reason)?
It’s certainly an unfortunate situation when you are not able to trust local businesses in a service-oriented industry to provide quality care with a high-level of honesty and integrity. Ultimately, in hindsight, I should have opted to contract with Cary Mower and Saw for the work needed to repair the two pieces of equipment.
Thank You Micheal I was wondering how you got such a low price It was because we Had not seen the mower but the price was over the phone. I have start now not to give prices over the phone as estimates. From now on It will be only our posted labor rate and parts price. I sorry you had a bad experience. I will do my best to not let It happen again. Jeff

Provided by YP.comI assume my trimmer / hedger is repaired and in good order but I was shocked to find out how much it was. It cost me $64 and all I could tell that was wrong was the primer bulb cracked. My mistake for not getting them to answer how much they estimated for the repair. When I took it in they were not interested in talking too much about the repair and what would be required. I was in a hurry and just assumed it wouldn't be more than $35. Bottom line is that I would look elsewhere for my small engine repairs if I were you.
We do give estimates and not knowing you name I can't respond to this complaint wisely There must have been something else wrong with it and not just the primer bulb. Jeff
