Bio - My name is L. Camille Braxton a Licensed Professional Counselor as designated by North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. I am also certified as a Nationally Certified Counselor and Distance Certified Counselor. I had the pleasure of earning my Master’s of Education in Counselor Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. As a professional, I have a decade of experience working with adults in the hospital setting, private practice, as well as education with a varied population of students. I worked as an exceptional children’s teacher of middle school aged children and as a school counselor in the high school setting. In addition to working in education, I have experience in the hospital setting that includes providing mental health services to individuals who have behavioral health issues. My passion is working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in the private practice. It is my goal to provide a safe and confidential atmosphere, so that clients feel comfortable in reaching their personal goals.
