I have used DNJ and Sherry on several mortgage refinances, and have been very pleased with the services and communication received each time. Never have I had an issue and they have been both helpful and professional. Would use them again.

BEWARE! Dealing with DNJ Gateway Bank Mortgage was the biggest nightmare I have ever put myself and my family through. Communication was HORRIBLE!! They never returned any phone calls, emails etc. This was my 5th home loan and I would rather live in a cardboard box than to go through a home loan process with this company. Honestly I cannot understand how a company like this can even stay in business. They lie and play the blame game like nothing I have ever seen before in my life, they are complete crooks and should be reported! Do yourself a favor and run away from them as fast as you can!

STAY AWAY!!! No communication at all. The absolute worst bank I've ever dealt with.

As a first time homebuyer, I went into it thinking it was going to be a huge hassle, but DNJ made the process so easy. They explained everything to me so I understood the terminology which, in turn, expedited the process tremendously. They were always available and happy to answer any questions that came up during the process, even after work hours.



I have recommended DNJ to family members and friends who have all had nothing but great things to say about their experiences. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home.

Closed in 40 days (it was supposed to be 38)! I got the number from the NCHFA because I wanted a to use my VA eligibility and get a mortgage credit certificate and Chris B. worked it out for me. Towards closing day (originally set on a monday) we had some issues due to the NCHFA, but even when these things happened DNJ was VERY quick to resolve them. They gave me a credit to make up for closing a few days late. Overall, I am pleased with my experience.

I would recommend DNJ Gateway Bank Mortgage, they have local processing and underwriting and many talented loan officers. Competitive rates and a large selection of loan products to meet the needs of any borrower. The company has local leadership with lots of experience and they care about each and every loan. I've used their services and have sent many of my home buyers to them as well.

I cannot say enough wonderful thinks about DNJ. My husband and I bought our first home in April and we were nervous about the whole process. Everyone at DNJ especially JoAnn, our broker, was professional and made the process so easy on us. We were approved for our loan well before our closing date and JoAnn even came with us to the closing to make sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend this company to family and friends.

Winslow assisted me, along with his management, in securing a home refinance when there were several obstacles to overcome. They were steadfast while implementing due diligence in resolving the conflicts while maintaining constant communications with me throughout the entire process. Thank you DNJ Gateway Mortgage...because of you, I had a couple of thousand dollars a month in savings as a result of my home refinance!

Do not touch this place with a ten foot pole. No order and structure and it will end up costing you.

Incompetent. Disorganized. Fools. Piece meal the whole process together, and was never able to provide us the whole picture. They were last minute and scatter brained with everything...had a bad feeling and should have followed it, now we are out thousands. Go to SunTrust!

Disappointed!!! I was actually referred by someone so I was excited to contact DNJ. I talked to someone there who acted as if I was bothering him. He rushed me off the phone. I went ahead a filled out the loan application online with his name and he never contacted me. Do you all really want business because you don't act like it.

Will make you pay for items and say you will get the money back at closing...then will call you and say that you do not quailfy, they have a appraiser come in and under appraise your home, so you can't quailfy for "no cost" refinance...scammed out of $425

I found everyone at DNJ to be courteous and professional. They gave my wife & me excellent mortgage advice, returned phone calls promptly, & kept us informed every step of the way. When the time needed to process the loan ballooned because everyone was trying to refi at 4.5%, they made sure we were "in the loop" and extended our rate lock for free. Their communication & commitment to customer service was excellent, & there were no surprises at closing. I highly recommend DNJ to anyone thinking about refinancing or buying a home.

Do you like hidden fees and repeating the same thing over and over in order to get what you are looking for? If so, DNJ is for you! Getting someone to return your calls and answer your questions in a timely fashion will not happen here. If you plan to use DNJ, plan to constantly stay on top of things yourself if you want to actually get what you are looking for. Also, at closing, you will find $450 application fees, origination fees, pencil and pen fees, fees for this and fees for that. Bottom line, customer service is terrible at DNJ.
