A copy of my complaint to Walmart.com about this pharmacy: This is complaint about the Pharmacy at the Walmart at 1165 Walmart Way, Radcliff, KY 40160. The first incident occurred approximately five weeks ago when my wife ordered a special order prescription which required at least 24 hours notice to fill. Given the extreme and utmost importance of taking the medication on a schedule set by her care provider, my wife called with at least 48 hours ahead and was assured the prescription would arrive on time. When calling to confirm that it could be picked up on the designated day, she was informed that the medication was not available and that she would have to call ahead at least 24 hours in advance to make an order, indicating ignorance of the placement of an order at least 48 hours beforehand. The pharmacist confirmed that there was an order made by us to the pharmacy, but did not comment on whether or not the pharmacy followed-up as necessary. She assured us there was no excuse, and that the medication would be there the following day. This failure on the part of the pharmacy turned out to be to our benefit as the care provider assured us that it was okay; she wanted to substitute the medication and would forward the prescription to the pharmacy so that an order could be placed. Fast-forward to five weeks later when a refill is required. The pharmacy makes the error of refilling the original, cancelled prescription and my wife is informed that she must wait at least an additional day for the correct medication. This is a medication given on a strict weekly schedule and, twice now, the pharmacy has failed to meet a reasonable expectation. We're not talking about pain meds here, people. This is my wife's health. This is our unborn baby's health. As this is not exactly rocket science. I can only conclude that these errors are a result of gross incompetence and because of this we will no longer be customers of the pharmacy at the Radcliff Walmart. I will also be submitting reviews relating the experience to other consumers.
