Zero stars if I could. Gone there for years. Spend $ since we've a large family. Started going for lunch. Went w/ my husband & after eating most of my meal, saw long black hair peeking out under my rice, which I eat last. I asked the guy who's always there (owner) for new scoop cause of hair. I still had intentions of paying, just wanted new rice. He said he doesn't have long hair, nor does the cook. My husband told him his wife did, who's in the back & the guy said "no one w/ that hair". Accused me of it being mine (mine's not wirey & black & I didn't bury it under my rice) & took my card. He continued business & disregarded my concern. On my way out, his wife came out, no hair net, longer, wirey & black in messy, loose ponytail hanging around her face & cleaned our table. I told him I was offended, we spend a good amount of $ there & it was not mine. He said she's not in charge of my food & verbally encouraged me to leave. Very OFFENDED & LOST OUR BUSINESS & EVERYONE ELSE WE KNOW.

The customer service is horrible. They don't give or keep receipts like a business should and then don't give all the food you paid for, which you can't prove without receipt! When I got home and realized all the order wasn't there I promptly returned and they acted like I was trying to get free food and had no idea who I was; it was ridiculous and rude, as were the employees. Never eating there again, worst Chinese restaurant experience ever!

I work in the same parking lot and have to take out trash and when I do I pass by chens ... trays of rice and noodles drying!!! I have never eaten there since. Right next to the dumpsters and birds all over. Its so gross. Sad thing this is I liked the food too!

Best food in Arizona...we love you guys...wanton soup..1 dolled scrimp ...mmmmnnnn

Chen's is the bomb. Been to every resturant he has started. It's when he sells them that they sometimes go down hill. He is currently at the one by Anthem, Safeway shopping center, Hunt Hwy.

I allways eat at Chens. I don't know what people are trippin about, but we go all the time. They are allways quick and hot and taste fresh every time we go.

This is a great place for fast Chinese food. My daughter loves the Low Mein, which is great, since it is loaded with Iron. We can call and have our food in 15 mins, which is perfect for one of those late nights and not knowing what to make for supper.....it sure has heck beats getting McDonalds. Also the fried Rice is really good. You can warm this up the next day also in a fry pan and add a little sesame oil and it taste great! No waste.

I've actually eaten there WITH CHINESE PEOPLE! It was a Chinese colleague that actually suggested we all go there. I wouldn't rave that it's the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life, but it's good enough to earn my return business and the return business of actual, born and raised nationals of China.



I would say that ljbizzelleski is the one who doesn't know what "real" Chinese food is! :)



I would also say that if you don't like the way a dish is made, speak up to the staff. My colleague asked for hers to be spicier and got it with a smile!
