I am a pediatrician and the medical director of Lactation Services for St. Luke’s University Health Network. I see children under the age of 18 at St. Luke’s Quakertown Pediatrics and moms/babies at St. Luke’s Baby & Me Support Center. I have always believed that I am working in partnership with parents to aide them in raising happy and healthy children. I have had an interest in breastfeeding since residency and started helping mothers and babies over 20 years ago, becoming a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and Fellow of the same organization for over 10 years. My goal with breastfeeding is to help mothers reach their goals, whatever they may be. I have done additional training through the Reach Institute in the area of psychiatry for the primary care provider in order to help children and adolescents who are struggling in the every increasingly stressful world in which we live. I am on the board of directors for the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and have been a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics for over 25 years. When I am not working, I like to read, walk, and spend time with my family (when they are home).
