And please remember, your periodontal appointments are not meant to take the place of regular visits to your General Dentist. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. Dental x-rays are necessary to have for a comprehensive evaluation and proper diagnosis. If the dental x-rays are available at your general dentist's office, either you can pick up and bring the x-rays to your appointment, or we can arrange to have them mail the x-rays to our office Our office participates with many dental insurance plans. We would appreciate you bringing your most up-to-date insurance information to your first appointment and subsequent visits so we may help you receive the maximum benefits that you are entitled. There are many types of insurance plans, and coverage for periodontal/dental implants will vary. Our staff will discuss the treatment fees and coverage you have with dental plans prior to beginning dental treatment. Financing options Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but very rarely all of the cost of your dental care. Most plans include a deductible and co-payments which must be paid by the patient. We make every effort to make dental care affordable. You can help us by paying at the time of your visit. You will be given an estimate of the approximate total fee at the beginning of treatment. To assist you with more extensive dental treatments, financial arrangements can be made with a member of our office staff. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders and major credit cards.
