Buyers DO NOT use JBB Painting!! I see others have had the bad experience I have had. Check reviews wherever possible and you will see. My story is so long I cannot explain it all. So here’s the summary version. I had my kitchen cabinets painted finally after excuse upon excuse of why they would not be coming to work. And of course it wasn’t them calling me, it was me calling them asking when they were coming. His excuses are so elaborate you think at first well that has to be true, but they are not. I see his excuse of his daughter being being in the hospital, or worker quit or bad weather was used with other clients. Within a month my cabinets started chipping! Trying to get touch up paint was the same nightmare. My cabinets now need to be redone. He said he would redo them but has that happened? NO! Same old story. I am trying to get money back now and will be taking legal action.

Please take notice. Under no circumstances consider doing business with this company or this man.

After having approved and signed an estimate for the job and receiving & depositing my 50% deposit check, Jonathan did nothing specific to my project.

For more than 4 weeks he indicated he would send samples to me but week after week I received nothing. Each time I reached out I was given another excuse as to why they were never sent - “fedex didn’t pick up”, “sick this week”, “inclement weather”.
After weeks of this frustrating and unprofessional behavior I finally gave up and requested the job be cancelled and my deposit returned. I received a response within the hour saying that was fine and my deposit would be returned once I signed the cancellation form which he would send over. Over a month and multiple requests later I have yet to receive the form or my money. Again I received multiple excuses as to why the form was not sent and he would "send it today". My most recent attempts to reach him (via eMail, text and phone) have gone completely unanswered. Complete silence.

It’s obvious now he has no intentions of returning to me my deposit.
I am I initiating legal action to recover my deposit but I want to, hopefully, forewarn anyone from doing business with this company or this man..

Jonathan and his apprentice did a fantastic job on our house! We were very impressed with his attention to every detail and his amazing work. He meticulously repaired imperfections before painting to result in perfectly straight and clean looking walls in our 3 bedrooms. He painted our kitchen cabinets from 31 year old wood to a gorgeous creme color that looks factory-new. He is honest and gives great advice for colors and design. He was accommodating to our schedule, reliable and very easy to work with. We would definitely call him again for any needs and highly recommend him. We are extremely satisfied with his outstanding work!

Jonathan did an oustanding job painting my deck,it was beautifully done in a short period of time. He is the most honest individual and he even let me borrow his power wash machine. For the price,experience and product I without doubt recommend him and no longer have to look for another painter. Thanks Jonathan.

I hired Jonathan J Berghold Painting to help me pick all my colors for my new home that was all builder white. They painted every room in my house and the dark colors have lines so straight against the ceiling and trim I'm still speechless. They beyond exceeded my expectations , everyone rants and raves that comes over and I am excited to give his card to them all. He even helped pick furniture
