My cat had surgery at this clinic, which required a lifetime prescription diet (insisted on by Dr. Ziegler when my cat had the surgery and since). I haven't been able to afford, nor had reason to take my cat to the vet for over a year. I still have a valid script for her prescription food. But I tried to order offline (Chewy) because it was cheaper. When the site called For Cats Only Clinic to confirm the prescription, the clinic denied the script because they said my cat was overdue for a visit. I think this action speaks for its greedy self. The clinic prescribes a lifetime diet, that of course they carry (at a way higher price than literally anywhere else) but if you don't give them your money every year, the clinic won't approve your cats continuing needs. I question whether the vet or her staff truly care about the animals or if the financial motives have overcome the requisite level of compassion. I will not be taking my cat to For Cats Only Vet or Dr. Ziegler EVER again.

I haven't seen the vet in over a year, due to distance, lack of funds, and my cat was not in need. I recently tried to order the prescription food off a website (that was much cheaper - Chewy.com). When Chewy.com called For Cats Only Vet to confirm the prescription food, the clinic denied it because my cat was overdue for a visit. The clinic denied a script for a cat they insisted needed this prescription diet for life. Chewy.com allowed me to send them a photocopy of the written script from Dr. Z, which was still valid by the way, via email so I still go the prescription food, despite the clinic's attempt to deny me that opportunity.



I believe this Vet does not care about the welfare of the animals, but more about the financial welfare of her business. I think it was cruel to deny a lifetime script to an animal simply because you haven't seen them. Needless to say, this Vet will no longer be getting my business.

I have two cats and I epecially like that there are not dogs in the waiting room to upset them when I bring them in. They are great here and always incredibly friendly and helpful.

I have been a customer here since they opened in 2/07 and have had nothing but positive experiences. The doctor and staff have always been friendly, professional and obviously care a great deal about what they do. I've referred several friends who have all had good things to say about this place. One of my friends had a cat will an allergy that other vets had been unable to treat correctly but Dr. Ziegler treated her cat and it is doing much better. I won't take my cats anywhere else.
