This was the only year I did not purchase a portrait package and it was because there was no way I was going to pay B and B's ridiculously over-priced fees. There is absoultly no reasonable explanation for their costs other than greed. My other child's senior pictures taken on location by a popular photographer didn't even have these fees. So the students that were not buying a package still had to have their pics taken for the yearbook photo and i.d. cards. But the kids who didn't buy a package were not given the same treatment by the person snapping photos. Everyone that wasn't buying were not told when the photo was going to be taken but the kids who bought a pkg were given time to fix themselves, they were told to smile, sit up straight or fix that stray hair. The others were not asked to smile, sit up straight or anything. It was just a click, your done, and Next! All the kids in the yearbook who are not smiling, now you know why. This is not a good business. I plan to file a formal complaint with the school district and hopefully they will not be used again but depending on what the school is getting out of the deal who knows how that will go. Shame on you and your photographers B and B for you do not have the families best interest at heart.
