I was excited to see a new independant restaurant in Pullman and was excited to try it. Here's the downside of my first visit: I ordered the burger on the menu and thought the presentation was great, but the burger itself was overcooked to the point of having a surface burn, and the size of the patty itself was way too small. They either need to charge more for it and use more meat, or just use more meat. The rest of the order, fries, relishes, etc., was great. The wait staff seems really inexperienced. I wasn't offered a refill on my soda until I was completely through eating, and the wait staff and hostess really didn't make any effort to create a dining experience for the customers; their interactions were all functional and without personality. The space itself is good, but if they brought the lighting down a bit and put either candles or flowers on the tables it would help make the place more cozy -- pubs are warm and cozy. This still feels too much like a strip mall stall.
