The William H. Snell Building was completed in 1960 to provide a permanent home for Industrial Arts which had been housed in ward surplus buildings on the site of current Harold B. Lee Library. William H. Snell was a faculty member, teacher, and resourceful administrator. The William H. Snell Building currently houses the School of Technology, an academic unit in the Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology. The building provides classrooms and lab space for activities ranging from wood working to robotics.
