I really wish Ihad read these reviews before I spent even one DIME in this store. The bad reviews are right on: the older couple are rude, completely unhelpful, condecending and simply awful at customer service. The place looks like an episode of Hoarders. It's disorganized, full of junk and dirty. We purchased parts there that they then refused to help with when problems cropped up. AWFUL. DO NOT GO HERE. I like to buy local and from small shops but this store is giving small business owners a bad name. The music store in any run of the mill mall is better than this. AVOID.

went to buy a cord and took 15 min to get help then when i asked about price on DJ equiptment i wastold they knew nothing of it and to ask another man who was not there...they gave me a nuber to call but then told me he would never answer...do these people ever do their jb? oh and to top that they charged me $30 for a wire i later bought for $9 at radio shack...these people SUCK!!!

Bill Harris music has some good equipment...I was looking at guitar amps. But I'm guessing they don't sell alot, when I visited, the staff was hopelessly clueless. Im not even talking about techy questions, they looked like deer in headlights when asked the simplest questions..."how much is this?" really through then for a loop if an item was not marked. The service is horrid! I will not return unless I can find an item anywhere else.

went into store to look at drums sets for 15 year old. they were helpful without being pushy. let him try out a number of different sets. set up drums for us so we could take them home already together. gave us a smoking deal!!! would go there again in a heart beat!

Every time we drive by this store my son says "Look at those drums daddy!" and I always tell him we will go in there someday. Well last Saturday I finally took my budding musician son into the store to check out the hand drums they have on display in the big plate glass windows that face University Ave. My son was so excited when we showed up and I could tell that the older owners were uneasy having him in there even though I was at his side the entire time. After trying several drums, I was even thinking about buying one for my son, though that wasn't my intention when I went in. Those ideas went out the window when the old man who runs the place came and told us not to play the drums because they are too loud. I know all about being loud on the drums and we were nowhere near loud. In fact, I was playing the drums with two fingers and my toddler son's tiny hands aren't able to make a very loud sound.
