I have 1973 Bernina sewing machine and have purchased other Bernina for daughters. I absolutely LOVE my machine, and rely on it. So when a local Bernina sales and repair told me it couldn't be repaired, I was appalled and a little incredulous. When I came to A1, they said it only needed a common small motor part, which they did with other "tune up" things I asked for. They are true to their estimates, and won't go over without calling, asking permission after telling you what and why. Totally friendly, like a good family, and honest. I have since brought in other (all very old) machine and have had the same competent, knowledgeable, honest impressions and experience. All for very reasonable fees. Old fashioned goodness and reliable! Only drawback is I live a few states away, so I coordinate with my trips to Utah.

Great service and they know there stuff. I've been going there for years they can fix just about anything.

I love my Simplicity vacuums. I bought my first one over 20 years ago and it is still running great. I just bought a new one and I love how it vacuums my carpet and hardwood floor. I know it will work for a long time. Karen is knowledgable and helpful is making sure I get the vacuum that matches my budget and my needs.

I come to Provo once a year to clean and paint condos we own here. Every year at least one condo vacuume visits Justin Jensen in the Provo store. He fixes, cleans, and replaces parts quickly and charges fair prices. Often telling me there is no labor charge after he replaces several parts. Best vacuum service I've ever had. Wish he owned a store in Tacoma, WA. I tell my friends and family to use him too. He is great.

I stopped in to drop off a floor steamer for repair, it's still under warranty and the manufacturer advised me to take it here. I'm glad they did! Karen was so friendly and very helpful, within a few minutes of chatting she picked up on my interest in chemical-free cleaning. They have some great "less-toxic" cleaning products, not to mention so many many different vacuums, vacuum bags, sewing machines, etc. She quickly demo'ed one of their vacuums as we were chatting about chemical free carpet cleaning to show me the power it has and how it would lower the need of carpet shampooing. She also mentioned that they do free repair estimates. So nice to know there's a repair/supply shop for vacuums and sewing machines, I'd much rather repair things than add to the landfill and I'd much rather give my business to a local store than to walmart.

THERE SERVICE WAS GREAT AND FRIENDLY. THEY KNOW A LOT ABOUT THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL.
I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN FOR SURE.

Service with a scowl. Owner or whoever works behind the desk belittles the handicapped when a person with special needs is in the store. Sent my son to drop off the vac for work and he was ridiculed for "horrible handwriting" - whilst filling out the customer form. Won't do business with people who are insensitive and rude to others. Owner, or whoever the old guy is behind the desk, you need an attitude adjustment.

We had a vacuum that had lost it's suction and took it to A-1 to get repaired. They had it back to us working in about a week. Unfortunately, since they returned it to us, the vacuum has been shredding belts on a weekly basis, which never happened before in over 5 years owning the vacuum. A-1 has refused to acknowledge any responsibility, and will not refund us the money for the original "repair". AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! The customer service ends when you ask them to make the problem they created right.

i checked every for my part for my vacuum and couldn't find itat all, i came in and the man at the store helped me out he even spent like 20min helping track the parts down well he found it told me how much which was way cheaper then what i was fearing and he ordered it and came in one week and he call me i picked it up.just want to say thanks for going the extra mile guys

I have had a great experiences with A-1 vacuum. The owner is onsite. He goes out of his way to keep his customers happy. I'm very happy with my simplicity vacuum. Great product and excellent customer service.

Take your sewing machine or Vacuum in and get it serviced. Not only do they do excellent work--But their great people.



And if you're looking for a new machine, they have excellent machines for sale. They're the only folks I trust to service my sewing machines.

It took over 2 weeks for the repair to finally get done. Each time I called to find out when it would be done it took 30minutes for them to even find my account! It was very frustrating.

They had everything I was looking for and installed everything for no extra change. They were very easy to work with and I will definitely go back next time I need more parts

It did take a week but they got my vacuum done and it was way cheaper then I thought. they did a free est. then called me and bam the next day I picked up the even they even told my I haf 90 day wrranty on the work they did oh and my vacuum work like new thanks A1

If you have a serger or sewing machine that you need to get repaired or even serviced don't use A-1. I first took my serger to the Provo store, 3 weeks and $100.00 later I picked it up "clean". I took it home, started serging and immediatly broke the needles. I replaced the needles used it one other time the needles broke again. So this time I took it up to the Orem location. Talked to the owner who assured me he would get right on it. 3 weeks later I went in the store again. Not only couldn't he find my machine but it hadn't even been looked at. The Owner again told me he would look at it that afternoon and call me later that day. 1 week later I went in and picked up my machine (because it hadn't even been touched). Don't make the same mistake I did. Take it anywhere else!!!!
