Founded in 2000, CVS Highlander Charter School is an independent charter school that enrolls more than 170 students in kindergarten through grade eight. Its syllabus includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, language arts and music. The school works in collaboration with the Dunn Institute for Learning Differences, which is a nonprofit organization. It also organizes a range of athletic activities that includes basketball, swimming, and track and field.
