Located in Prospect Heights, Ill., MacArthur Middle School offers academic programs in mathematics, science, language arts, social studies and reading. The school s curriculum includes physical education, art, music, home arts and foreign languages. Its curriculum also includes computer education, life skills and industrial technology. MacArthur Middle School provides various elective courses, such as drama, computer animation, mythology, and vocal and instrumental music. The school offers gifted and talented and special education programs to more than 500 students in grades six through eight. It supports several sports activities, including cross county, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. MacArthur Middle School is a part of Prospect Heights School District 23.
