We ordered the Salmon (mushy) and had a Guiness draft. All went well until we finished our meal and my husband went out to smoke. I waited and waited to ask the waitress for our check. Finally a manager showed up and asked me. "What is going on here?" Like I was doing something wrong? Waiting for a check? She rudely asked if I was finished and FINALLY sent for our waitress. I dont know if they thought we were trying to leave with out paying ??? We will look for another place with Guiness draft and more pleasant staff

We stop in here frequently and have always been treated royally by the long-time male bartenders on staff here, especially Curtis. Last evening four of us went in for drinks and when I received my 2nd drink, I passed it over to my husband as he had just joined us. He gave it back to me afetr tasting it, stating it tasted "like orange juice was in it.". (Not good for a dirty martini!) So I tasted it and it tasted to me like a margarita had been made in it prior. As one of friends with me who does not drink alcohol always eats my olives, she then tasted the olives from this drink and stated they were "citrusy tasting". I then passed the drink to her husband to taste and he could also taste the citrus and pointed out there was pulp in the drink. Okay....If you are up to speed on this, we now have 4 customers who taste citrus, right??? Well not the surly brunette pony-tailed bartender who blasted me in front of the other customers when I complained and stated SHE had made the drink CORRECTLY! I suggested she taste it, she went to do so, then stated "I am NOT going to taste it becasue there is NO citrus in it.) So much for pleasing the customers.The previous reviewer on 4/11 (Michael C.) gets it correct: "this wait staff messes orders up and then makes no apologies and then treats you like you are the one with the problem." Exactly what happened to us! We spend a lot of money at Murphy's every year, but they will not see one more cent from us. We did not even bother to try to speak to the manager on duty as in the past my husband has tried bringing a service problem up with this same manager and all he did was make excuses for his staff. Stay away.
