Great pedicure, however I also got a full set and paid the extra money for gel. By far the worst fake nails I have ever had! They are all crooked and not smooth. They are also lifting already and I just got them yesterday. Plus they charged me extra because I used a credit card. Horrible experience.

I had an awful experience at Charlie's Nails. I went in to get a full set of acrylics, with gel polish. When I sat down, the woman who was going to work on my nails started applying the clear plastic tips, and she was getting nail glue everywhere, and the seal from the natural nail and the tip was not flush at all. At this point, I decided that I would just wait and hop the experience got better.



I told her I wanted the nails filed squoval, and clarified that I wanted square with slightly rounded edges. She nodded and proceeded to file my pinky nail in a very poor almond shape. When I tried to stop her and correct her, she could not tell what I was saying at all, and ended up having to look to a nearby employee for help. Now, a least on track with the right nail shape, she had to remove the tip on the pinky and redo that one so the shape would be right. while removing the old tip, she filed very deep into my natural nail with a coarse drill file.



At this point, I did not want to continue with the service, and again, when I tried to tell her to stop, she had no idea what I was saying. I pulled my hands away, and finally got across that I would just like her to remove the tips so I could leave. Bad idea on my part, I should have just walked out. She proceeded to do an extremely poor job on removing the tips, sometimes filing into my natural nail, and leaving glue and fake nail all over the place instead of soaking them off like she should have. I was horrified, and said I was leaving. Even after all that, the other worker in the salon, presumably the owner, told me I owed them $10. I did not pay, and left. Even if I had tried to let them know why I would not pay for a horrible, painful experience, I'm not sure if they would have understood me.



Not only did I leave the salon with ruined nails and have to fix it myself, at least 3 of the stores I frequent in the mall lost a lot of business by default, because I was no longer going to do my shopping with ruined, painful nails that would have caught on anything I picked up. This shop is extremely unprofessional, rude and honestly, bad for mall business.

Charlie's Nails is the best! It's a clean nail salon and everyone is very experienced.. I go to Judy. She's really incredible! Since Charlie's has opened in the mall, I've been a faithful customer and I've never been disappointed. All nail operators are great!

I have gel nails, and I absolutely love them!

Charlie's nails is wonderful. I always get gel with air brushed white tips. It's $50 for a gel set. I tip them as well. The workers have a good sense of humor & are quick. I have Charlie himself do it if possible. He's great. A fresh set lasts me at least a month & a half. At around that time I go to get them refilled. A refill is about $25.
