I dropped off my TV on the 28th of Dec. I called a few days later inquiring about it and was told it was the power supply and that he would have to order the part and should be ready by the weekend which was about 4 days later and would cost $62. Great! No call that weekend so my husband called and was told the part came in but was defective and they'd have to order another one. Another week goes by and I call at 3:00, their hours are 10:00 to 5:00 we were told, and was told the technician has left for the day. Fast forward to the 26th of Jan. I call and the secretary says oh, the technician wants to talk to you. I asked why didn't they call me? Oh, I'm not sure but he'll be back in a few minutes, I said, great, have him call me. Thirty minutes later he calls to tell me the part wasn't bad and that my TV is beyond repair. What? I waited a month for a TV that wasn't fixable! Not enough training to be called a TV Repair place and they severely lack in customer service.

I took my tv in for repair and paid the $50 assessment fee. After waiting TWO WEEKS I called to check on my TV. Preston advised that he has not found the parts for my TV. He had said I needed 3 circuit boards. Keep in mind this is not an old TV, but a 2 year old Panasonic Plasma. I decided to take my business elsewhere, where they can "Find" parts to fix my TV. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Our tv stopped working one day out of the blue, and our warranty had just expired, so we were looking for tv repair shop that could get the job done, yet not cost an arm and a leg. I found presto tv service online. The people working there where very nice, helpful and and knowledgable. Needless to say, I dropped of our 50 in sanyo tv at noon, and it was fixed by 5. Our total bill was under $150, which was awesome since a place in Montgomery wanted $80 upfront which doesn't even go towards your total bill. At presto they charge a deposit depending on how many inches your tv is, my tv was 50 in so my deposit was $50, but the $50 went towards the total bill. I without a doubt recommend presto tv service, an dif any our friends or family have a busted tv, I will be recommending presto tv service.

Took our tv in to Presto today...

Took our tv in to Presto today, got it back good to go, today! Very impressed with service and price. We called Sears (where we bought the tv) it would be over a week before they could even send someone out to diagnosis the problem. Called Cohen's in Montgomery, had to bring it in to them and they would let us know what the problem was in 2-3 days. Very satisfied with Presto TV, owner is retired military.
