"Bill" came to my home in La Crosse and was very pleasant. We discussed the trees that I wanted to come down. He was very upbeat and had some good ideas of his own. I was so pleased to find him through Home Advisor. Unfortunately, after several weeks, there has been no contact by him. This has happened twice with Home Advisor. Needless to say, I won't believe anything they say. Must be a scam company. Very stressful and depressing to an 81 year old widow.

We contacted them to cut down trees that were hanging over our garage.
They were quick to get out to give an estimate. It took a few weeks to get out to do the job though.
We did have some storms in the area, that took down a lot of trees, so that had them tied up with clean up work.
Our service was elective. The jobs they were doing took precedence.

He took the tree down and left it on the lawn while he went on vacation for 2 weeks.

The day after the job was 90% complete, he started hounding me for payment. He said he would charge an additional $100 travel fee to complete the last 10%.

I had an insurance check to wait for but paid them 2 weeks later, in that time they called, texted & mailed me threats of late payment.
