I called early in the morning, and they scheduled me an afternoon service call. They arrived early! The service technician inspected, examined, and resolved the cooling problem. Upon entering the house, the technician slipped on shoe covers to keep from messing up the house. I have an old unit using R22. R22 is expensive to replace (currently $120/lb), since it is being phased out. So, others who have leaky units be ready for an expensive call.

From the first phone call, our experience with Powell was excellent...as excellent as an experience can be when it's a balmy 50 degrees in your house! The receptionist was friendly and sympathetic when we called, Colin was on time, friendly and efficient when he fixed our unit, and the price was fair.

Received great service. They went above and beyond my expectations. I contacted Keith Powell H&C, their quote was half of what their competitor's quote was and they did the same job. So, as for me and my household, we will be contacting KP H&C for all our heating and cooling needs. Would I call them again? In a heart beat, they were very friendly and in my opinion very honest. Would I recommend them to a friend? Well unless they just want to pay the competitor twice the money, I can't imagine calling anyone else. Thank you, my family and I are very cool right now!

I had to replace our ac unit and I was so afraid of getting ripped off and also how much it was going to call. I called them and they were able to come out the very next day and it didn't cost me nearly as much as I thought it would. I was also able to put it on my credit card which was nice. They were also on time (such a plus since I took off from work 1/2 day) and very friendly and nice.
