Note: I received a free media ticket for my work with Experience Columbus. All opinions are my own.

Yes, this review is based on my most recent media trip in September. However, when I lived in Columbus, I had an annual zoo membership and visited often.

I am biased because I love zoos. When my husband and I visit new cities, we always try to visit the local zoo (and science/natural history museum). In the last 5 years, we have visited 8 different zoos.

The Columbus Zoo spans 588 acres, with exhibits divided into 6 regions. I only spent about 2 hours there on my most recent visit, which was barely enough time to see all my favorites. I have easily spent 4 hours at the zoo before without seeing everything.

On this trip, I sought out the following animals: flamingos, reptile house, penguins, gorillas, orangutans, and polar bears.

Almost no one was at the zoo on a Monday morning, which meant I could really take my time in the reptile house. Usually I'm fighting the crowds to see my favorite snakes and turtles.

If you love zoos, the Columbus Zoo is a good one to visit. Even though Ohio is too cold for me in the winter. I highly recommend going for the Zoo Lights in December. My husband and I went once when we lived in Ohio, and it was a blast.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLED BY YOUR AWFUL BUSINESS! I bought tickets through my company for half off and apparently in the tiny fine print of the tickets they expired in June although the website said they were good through January. Only solution offered was $6 off original price even though I already paid $16.50 for each ticket. My brother recently died and we were trying to take his son out for a fun family day. The "manager" of the hr could not provide a corporate number so I figured this will get out better anyway. She stated there was no direct line to the corporate office which is a crock because every company has one they just didn't want to give it out. I know how the process works. Never again will I visit this awful greedy company. Oh and by the way, we could have gotten tickets for $13 through my mom's company but it's almost an hour and a half away. Thanks for ruining our day.

It's a zoo. Don't buy gifts for the kids or try to eat here unless you have a few hundred to blow. Still nice

AMAZING!

This site not only showed me the listing that I was looking for, but also gave me other information that I never expected to find such as other users reviews, and information on the services offered. This site also allowed a link to go straight to the website. Very impressed! thank you!
