I have been a client of salon 52 for 4 years. They are the best. Alyse my stylist is amazing. She does a beautiful job with color, cuts... And spends the time talking to me what she thinks is best for my crazy curly hair. I trust her opinion, and always comes out perfect. Chelsea the owner is wonderful. Always makes you feel great when you see her, and does an awesome brazilian blowout and does amazing hair. Ellie and Debbie the other stylist also do a great job. The stylist here are awesome. And they truly do care about there clients, and have gone through family emergency (see below) and still been there because they are dedicated. I disagree with the review below. Johanna the wonder girl who does.

Appointments is a sweetheart! I can not say enough about this salon! Salon 52 is the best in Hudson valley, they did my daughters hair for prom it was beautiful. If you are looking for a salon for your wedding this is the one for you. Highlights, cuts, blowouts etc. this is also the place for you. These girls I consider friends after all these years. And they treat me like family.

I was referred to this salon by a friend who had went there for a color service. I knew it wasn't a high end salon but had heard it was decent enough and I am new to the area and looking for a salon. I called and set the appointment over a week in advance, rearranged my schedule and I received a call from the salon 2 days before my appointment. When I called back they asked me to come earlier than my appointment because the stylist had a 5pm appointment and wouldn't have enough time for me. ? I said well I already changed my schedule to be able to make the appointment I scheduled and I couldn't come earlier. I was put on hold and when she came back on the appointment was upgraded to a family emergency ( an emergency with 2 days notice of course I guess) an emergency that required her to leave by 5 on a Friday afternoon....hmmm. Seems like this salon just isnt interested in new clients must be nice to be in the position to blow off potential business glad this happened though because I found a great salon that treated me well and I am very happy with my color!
