Calling to see if a family member was admitted and was told that the information could not be given. Transferred to pi info desk no record called back the E D kept on hold 8 min each time - ring back tone only reason I got someone back . Hooray for Stacy after begging she helped me locate my sister.no humanity- only regulations and HIPPA adherence a priority. Want to survive Mid Hudson Regional ? train your staff treat with humanity and compassion.

What we thought is a great hospital, we now find out a customer service clerk answering the phone over rides a Doctor's prescription. A patient was made to feel discriminated, put down, spoke to in an unprofessional manner, treated like a child, forced to argue with this "customer service clerk" and was refused to be put thru to make an appointment for a test. This woman states the Radiology Tech makes the decisions on what tests are going to be necessary based on the prior test... SO don't bother going to this Hospital. Total disrespect, very unprofessional and in my opinion, just simply rude. Employers are slacking on the people they hire. Also the training is terrible. How in the world did this woman get a job answering the phone????????
